About Lilly

Lilly Tench is an author, coach and consultant with over a decade of experience supporting, teaching, and enabling mission-based business; specializing in organizations designed to be both financially sustainable and to create positive impact for people and the planet. She has held roles as Executive Director of the Spark Innovation Center, an incubator and accelerator program based at the University of Tennessee, Chief of Staff at SkyNano, a climate tech startup, Director of Membership at Newlab, an innovation center in Brooklyn, and Program Director of the No Impact Project, an environmental non-profit. Lilly has designed and implemented entrepreneurial support programming for sustainable agriculture companies at AgLaunch and cleantech startups at Columbia University. Lilly holds a BA from Berea College, an MBA and MS in Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Tennessee. She is the author of the book Good Business: An Entrepreneur’s Guide to Creating a Better World, and was selected for the 2025 "40 Under 40" cohort by Knox News.
